The Diving Mecca of the Philippines

The Atlantis Beach Resort Puerto Galera is on the Island of Mindoro, south of Luzon Island and only 3 hours south of Manila by bus and boat. Puerto Galera has 40 guest rooms elegantly designed, all air-conditioned with amenities like cable TV, hot water, safes, mini bar, etc. Most rooms enjoy shared terrace or patio space.


Resort facilities include on-site dive shop, Nitrox, swimming pool, a restaurant, pool bar, sea view bar at the beach front dive shop, a conference room, retail shop, a photo room for your underwater photography equipment, and internet connections.


Puerto Galera is a diving Mecca located right on the beach front with over 32 dive sites just 5-15 minutes travel via fast speedboats. There are four scheduled dives every day – 9am, 11am, 2pm, 4pm and the optional night dive at 6pm. Puerto Galera has a great night life, too.

This diving adventure will be escorted by Lighthouse Diving Centers Harry Truitt who has just returned from Puerto Galera, Philippines from an advance trip to check out the area, the dive resort, the facilities, and the diving. This area is a beautiful part of the world with superb diving. The Philippines was the center of life hundreds of millions of years ago as life exploded into millions of different species. The Philippines remains a Mecca of varied and strange marine life offering a haven for the underwater photographer.

  • 7 nights Resort overnight accommodations based on DBL occupancy 

  • 6 days diving, 4 dives a day

Terms & Conditions:

   1.  Deposits are required to hold reservations. Deposits may 
       be made by CC, debit, check or cash. If paying by cash, 
       check, or debit card, deduct $100.
  2.  Balance due by Feb. 28 2009.
  3.  Changes to itinerary may generate fees and expenses.
  4.  Airfare prices could change.
  5.  All divers must carry proof of certification.
  6.  Nitrox package requires Nitrox certification.
  7.  Any diver requesting a private room will incur the $300 single
       supplement charge.
  8.  Cancellations rec’d after the final due date are not refundable.
  9.  Each participant in the trip must read & sign a 
       disclosure waiver/liability release form prior to departure.
10.  Cancellations rec’d after Jan. 1st, 2009 are subject to a
       $150 cancellation fee.
11.  Weather is not a reason to cancel or to request a refund. Trip
       cancellation insurance is available.
12.  Cancellations must be made in writing.
13.  Pricing may change due to circumstances beyond our control.
14.  Travel and dive insurance is recommended.
